
Columbia Packaging was formed in 1995 with the singular focus of providing glass container solutions for the wine, spirits, beer, ciders and new age beverage industries.
After a few short years they quickly became the Pacific Northwest’s premier glass supplier and expanded their service across Canada and into select U.S. markets.
In 1999 Columbia Packaging embarked on an ambitious strategy to integrate plastic containers and components into their product lines. They added new management, support staff and supply chain capabilities in addition to opening three key strategic distribution centers located in Vancouver, Montreal and California.
2000 - Expanded into larger Vancouver distribution center
2000 - Expanded core focus to include vitamin & pharmaceutical product lines
2001 - Opened Southern California warehouse and sales office
2002 - Opened Montreal warehouse and sales office
2002 - Launched worldwide sourcing capability
2003 - Growth year focusing on systems, infrastructure, people
2003 - Added folding carton and corrugate division
2004 - Built new head office and distribution center in Vancouver
Today, Columbia Packaging services the Vitamin & Pharmaceutical, Beverage, Sports Nutrition and Health & Beauty markets.
Their belief in building strong partnerships with industry leaders in manufacturing, coupled with their attention to detail in supporting customer product lines, has allowed Columbia Packaging to be creative, cost effective and in-tune with the ever changing landscape of packaging options.
